Welcome the gift of new life into the family of the Church. Arranging a baptism at the Basilica of St Peter & St Paul takes three simple steps.
Baptism is the first of the sacraments, the door to life in the Spirit and the beginning of a journey of faith within the Christian community. The parish warmly welcomes families who wish to have their child baptised in the basilica.
Follow the three steps below. Once you send your appointment request, the Archpriest will get back to you with a date for the meeting.
Download the Baptism Application Form and fill it in at home, but do not sign it. You will sign it in front of the Archpriest during your appointment. Bring the completed form with you to the meeting.
Download the Baptism Application Form (PDF)Pass the Godparents' Certificate to the godparents. Each godparent fills it in, signs it, and hands it back to you. Bring it to the appointment, where it will be presented to and signed by the Archpriest.
