150 &50 Anniversary LogoThe year 2017 is important for our parish because it will celebrate the 50 Anniversary since it given the privilege of a Basilica and 150 Anniversary since it was consecrated the church. The logo for these two anniversaries were designed by Maria Pace. The numbers 50 and 150 mark the two dates. The Basilica cross is in a circle, also a symbol of the Eucharist, which is on the black rectangle symbolizing the altar which was consecrated in 1867. Pace enclosed all in an outline of the whole Church, to show that the stone church is given life with the living people celebrating around the altar. The Christians meeting in Church leave it to make the Church alive.
