MNARJA 2026 EVE

Sunday 28th JUne 2026 at 6:30pm. Pontifical Translation of the Relic led by H.E. Mons. Anton Teuma Bishop of Gozo with the participation of representatives of the Cathedral Chapter, the Collegiate Chapter and the Clergy and the Knights of the Confraternity of St. Peter and St. Paul, from the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Afterwards, in the Basilica, Mons. Bishop Anton Teuma led the Pontifical Solomn Vespers, assisted by representatives of the Cathedral Chapter and the Chapter and Clergy of the Basilica.

Music by Mro Giuseppe and Ferdinando Camilleri was performed.

Afterwards, the possession of an effective Canon was granted to Can. On. Charles Vella and the nomination of Dun Raymond Portelli as an Honorary Canon within the Chapter of the Basilica was announced.
